1. “The Crown”
This show is based on the real-life events of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign over England. It follows her early years as Princess Elizabeth and how she became queen after the death of her father King George VI. She then goes through many political and social changes as she becomes head of state. 2. “Stranger Things”
Based off of Stephen King’s book of the same name, this show takes place in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana where kids start disappearing. Eleven-year-old Will Byers witnesses his best friend disappear before his eyes while playing outside. He soon finds himself drawn into a mystery involving government experiments, telekinetic powers, and supernatural forces. This show tells the story of Clay Jensen who commits suicide after being bullied at school. Before he dies, he makes a list of 13 reasons why he thinks people deserve to die. After he passes away, his friends decide to find out what happened to him and try to figure out if any of these reasons were true. Daredevil is a blind lawyer who fights crime as a vigilante superhero. In this show, he uses his senses of hearing, smell, taste, touch, and sight to fight criminals. He first appears in the comics published by Marvel Comics in 1963 and was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.
